The original remote control was missing and I did already make a new one, which controls zoom, brightness, focus and switching between align/view modes.
The interferometer will get a new high voltage amplifier for the phase shifter.
When I've finished refurbishing this instrument, it will be ready to be connected to a PC with IntelliWave, Durango or 4Sight software.

CaliBall is a 25.4mm diameter, high precision silicon nitride ball and kinematic mount used to calibrate phase-measuring interferometers by determining the errors in the transmission-sphere reference-surface.
The CaliBall is located with its center at the focus of the transmission sphere and aligned to better than one fringe. A measurement of the ball is taken, the ball picked up, arbitrarily rotated and replaced on its mount. The center of the ball will return to the original position due to the kinematic mount. Another measurement of the ball is then taken. 

This process is repeated about a dozen times and the interferograms averaged. The average represents the errors in the transmission sphere and interferometer because the ball is extremely round and the small imperfections of the ball average to zero. The calibration can be done in as little as 10 minutes and the result is difficult to dispute. Best used with low F/# transmission spheres.

The Wyko Siris is a beautiful  small Twyman-Green interferometer.
It has an internal reference mirror with a piezoelectric phase shifter.
There is a movable shutter in front of the reference element. It it's closed, the instrument can be used with an external Fizeau reference element.

There exist several different versions of the Siris, I've seen it with 840nm semiconductor lasers and with 633nm He-Ne lasers.
In the original configuration, the laser is in an extra housing on top of the interferometer. This modified Siris does now have an internal He-Ne laser, a new CCD camera, and an internal power supply. You only have to connect the mains power, a video monitor and the remote control.

The laser beam is directed by two small adjustable mirrors (with a small negative lens in the middle between them) to a spatial filter assembly.

This is the camera from a WYKO SIRIS Interferometer. I sell it untested as-is. The interferometer was unopened when I got it, with the factory seals not removed.

This camera has a giant CCD chip:
It's a RA-0226BAQ-011 from Reticon.
Sensitive area is about 10.2mm x 10.2mm.

With cable and connector (not visible in picture). This camera fits to the COBRA controller above, but I don't have the cable that connects the SIRIS with the COBRA. I don't have any schematic diagrams.

This is the infrared diode laser from a WYKO SIRIS Interferometer. It is in working condition. The type plate says 840nm wavelength and 2.0 mW maximum power. I do not need the diode laser because I built a 633nm He-Ne laser into the SIRIS.
The key for the switch is missing, but it's absolutely no problem to replace the whole switch, or simply shorten the wires.
Two adjustable mirrors and one lens inside. One spatial filter with pinhole and microscope objective inside. Laser radiation exit is at the bottom of the unit.
I think the supply voltage is about 24-28 VDC.
A Wyko technican told me that the coherence length is several meters if the diode current is adjusted correctly at the multi-turn potentiometer.
